What are SAT II Subject Tests and AP Tests?

SAT II Subject tests are administered on the same dates as the SAT (excluding March 1) and are 1-hour exams testing a single subject you have learned in school. Many competitive colleges require 2 to 3 of these exams (up to 3 can be taken on a single test date)

AP (Advanced Placement) exams are also single-subject tests administered by the college board, but differ from SAT IIs in two important ways: First, they test content at a college rather than high school level, and second, they are given only once a year in mid-May.
