Margaret is a rising junior at Yale University. She graduated 1st in her class from Aquinas Academy, and was the captain of the varsity basketball and field hockey teams. She scored a 2370 on the SAT, and was recognized as a National Merit Scholar. Margaret is majoring in Humanities. She taught over forty students through Ivy Insiders in the Pittsburgh area last summer, and has extensive experience tutoring SAT prep, Physics, Algebra, Writing, and Latin.

Nolan is a member of the Yale College Class of 2012. During high school, he received scores in the 99th percentile on all three sections of SAT and all four parts of the ACT, as well as three SAT IIs. Over the last two years, he has been named a National Merit Commended Student, AP Scholar with Distinction, and National HIspanic Recognition Scholar Finalist, all awards based on his standardized test-taking performance. Nolan has been teaching with Ivy Insiders since 2007 and tutoring since 2006.

Eli is a member of the Brown University Class of 2010. During high school, he scored a 2370 on the SAT and tutored his peers in a broad range of topics, including standardized tests. Eli was also a Boy Scout and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. At Brown, he is studying Biomedical Engineering, currently holds a 4.0 GPA, and volunteers to teach local community members how to use computers.

Elizabeth is a doctoral student at the University of Texas at Dallas. She graduated in May 2006 from Towson University Honors College with a double major in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Spanish. Before that, she graduated from Parkland High School in 2002 with a 4.0 GPA and was recognized as a National Merit Scholar. She scored a 1530 on the old version of the SAT and has been tutoring students in the SAT since high school.

Anish, a junior at Columbia University, is currently pursuing degrees in Biochemistry and Economics. Before joining Ivy Insiders, he spent the past year working for a student-run science publication and also carried out organic chemistry and clinical cardiac research. As a student at Paramus High School, he served as Vice President of the National Honor Society and Captain of the Varsity Tennis Team. Anish personally earned a score of 2350 on the SAT and has tutored many students in preparation for the test.

Eric is a junior at UPenn majoring in biomedical engineering and active in programs such as Science and Technology Wing. Scott is a rising junior in The Wharton School at UPenn where he is concentrating in Operations & Information Management, minoring in Computer Science, works as a research assistant, and is the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Investment Alliance (Pennsylvania's only student-run mutual fund). He graduated from Pentucket Regional High School in 2006 at the top of his class. While in high school, Scott scored exceptionally well in all areas of the SAT, received the Massachusetts Superintendent's Award, was President of the National Honor Society, and was an Eagle Scout. In addition to learning about all aspects of business and tutoring for Ivy Insiders, Scott enjoys the outdoors, going to concerts and music festivals, learning about the stock market, and watching Family Guy episodes he has seen multiple times.

Garrett is a rising senior at Brown where he is majoring in International Relations with a minor in Geology. Outside of class, he’s a DJ and music director at WBRU FM, Brown’s student-run commercial radio station. Garrett graduated from Hunter College High School in 2005 with a 4.0+ GPA and awards for excellence in English, Physics, and International Relations. While in high school, he was a member of the Debate Team and a Big Sib (mentor for younger students), scored exceptionally on all areas of the SAT (averaging 780 on four SAT IIs), and received a Scholastic Writing Awards Gold Key for non-fiction. When he’s not trying to understand the international system or speak Chinese, Garrett likes to play ultimate Frisbee and listen to his scratchy vinyl records.
